DISCONTINUATION OF JOURNAL
Change: Transformations in Education (ISSN 1441-9319), formerly known as the Forum of Education, has been a refereed international journal published by the Faculty of Education and Social Work, University of Sydney. Contributions to the journal have focused on educational change and innovation, educational restructuring, school reform and associated issues of teacher professionalism in international, national and local contexts. The journal has provided critical and influential perspectives in relation to the policy and practice of education. Change has been essential reading for educational researchers, for administrators concerned with educational change and theory and practice issues, and for those working in the professional development of educators in changing contexts. The journal has been published twice yearly in the current form from 1998 to 2006.
Following consultation with members of the Faculty about the future of the journal, it was decided to discontinue Change and focus on supporting new avenues for publishing research across the disciplines of Education and Social Work. Volume 9 (1) 2006 is the last issue
