    • Large Effective Slip on Lubricated Surfaces Measured with Colloidal Probe AFM

Scarratt, Liam R.J.; Zhu, Liwen; Neto, Chiara
      Published 2020
In this work, we study the interfacial boundary conditions at the interface between two immiscible liquids under laminar flow. We measure the hydrodynamic drainage forces acting on a colloid probe as it approaches a flat ...

    • Selective Endo and Exo Binding of Mono- and Ditopic Ligands to a Rhomboidal Diporphyrin Prism

Jayamurugan, Govindasamy; Roberts, Derrick; Ronson, Tanya; Nitschke, Jonathan
      Published 2015
Copper(I) can preferentially form heteroleptic complexes containing two phosphine and two nitrogen donors due to steric factors. This preference was employed to direct the self-assembly of a porphyrin-faced rhomboidal prism ...

    • Integrated Polyphenol-Based Hydrogel Templating Method for Functional and Structured Oxidic Nanomaterials

Schoettle, Marius; Xia, Qingbo; Cheng, Yen Theng; Shepherd, Nicholas D; Ling, Chris D; Muellner, Markus
      Published 2020
A straightforward fabrication method for tunable nanomaterials remains a key objective in the research areas of template chemistry, catalysis, and energy storage materials. A growing focus in materials chemistry is the ...

    • Synthese und Anwendung von kompartibilisierten molekularen Polymerbürsten

Pelras, Theophile; Mahon, Clare S.; Muellner, Markus
      Published 2018

    • Stiffness-Dependent Intracellular Location of Cylindrical Polymer Brushes

Niederberger, Antoine; Pelras, Theophile; Salvati Manni, Livia; FitzGerald, Paul; Warr, Gregory G.; Muellner, Markus
      Published 2021
Cylindrical polymer brushes (CPBs) are macromolecules with nanoparticle proportions. Their modular synthesis enables tailoring of their chemical composition as well as the dialing-up of overall dimensions and physicochemical ...
