ArticleAbstract
pH-dependent liposomal assays are often used to determine anion selectivity in transmembrane anion transport experiments. We discuss the validity and limitations of these assays, and provide guidelines for their use to avoid misleading results.pH-dependent liposomal assays are often used to determine anion selectivity in transmembrane anion transport experiments.
