This report on international programs provides a snapshot of postschool pockets of excellence that support the quality of life and ongoing learning opportunities of young people with disabilities after high school. The aim of this report is to provide an insight into the program components that are (a) evident in global examples of postschool programs for school leavers with moderate to severe disabilities and (b) supported by research evidence. The recommendations of this report include actions to guide the improvement of postschool service options for individuals with moderate to severe disabilities. These actions include ways of planning and organising postschool programs and services that encourage partnerships with families, provide opportunities for ongoing learning and development, and improve the skills and knowledge of those who deliver these programs.en_AU
