    • Respiratory Motion Guided Four Dimensional Cone Beam Computed Tomography: Encompassing Irregular Breathing

      O'Brien, R; Cooper, B; Kipritidis, J; Shieh, C-C; Keall, P
      Published 2014-02-01
Four dimensional cone beam computed tomography (4DCBCT) images su er from angular under sampling and bunching of projections due to a lack of feedback between the respiratory signal and the acquisition system. To address ...

    • MagicPlate-512: A 2D silicon detector array for quality assurance of stereotactic motion adaptive radiotherapy.

      Petasecca, M; Newall, M; Booth, J; Duncan, M; Aldosari, A; Fuduli, I; Espinoza, A; Porumb, C; Guatellli, S; Metcafe, P; Colvill, E; Cammarano, D; Carolan, M; Oborn, B; Lerch, M; Perevertaylo, V; Keall, P; Rosenfeld, A
      Published 2015-06-01
PURPOSE: Spatial and temporal resolutions are two of the most important features for quality assurance instrumentation of motion adaptive radiotherapy modalities. The goal of this work is to characterize the performance ...

    • Electron contamination modeling and reduction in a 1 T open bore inline MRI-linac system

      Oborn, B; Kolling, S; Metcalfe, P; Crozier, S; Litzenberg, D; Keall, P
      Published 2014-05-01
PURPOSE: A potential side effect of inline MRI-linac systems is electron contamination focusing causing a high skin dose. In this work, the authors reexamine this prediction for an open bore 1 T MRI system being constructed ...

    • DMLC tracking and gating can improve dose coverage for prostate VMAT

      Colvill, E; Poulsen, P; Booth, J; O'Brien, R; Ng, J; Keall, P
      Published 2014-09-01
PURPOSE: To assess and compare the dosimetric impact of dynamic multileaf collimator (DMLC) tracking and gating as motion correction strategies to account for intrafraction motion during conventionally fractionated ...

    • Reconstruction of implanted marker trajectories from cone-beam CT projection images using interdimensional correlation modeling

      Chung, H; Poulsen, P; Keall, P; Cho, S; Cho, B
      Published 2016-08-01
PURPOSE: Cone-beam CT (CBCT) is a widely used imaging modality for image-guided radiotherapy. Most vendors provide CBCT systems that are mounted on a linac gantry. Thus, CBCT can be used to estimate the actual 3-dimensional ...
