Our study focused on coral reef tourism operators across the Asia-Pacific region that have been severely affected by either coral bleaching or tropical cyclone impacts. In our survey we asked reef tourism operators whether they received helpful support from specific government support types. We also followed up with an open question that asked, “What kind of government action could have helped you respond and adapt more effectively to the coral bleaching / cyclone impacts?”en
