| dc.description.abstract | The overarching theme of this thesis explores the relationship between pain and knee biomechanics during gait in people with knee osteoarthritis. This is explored by: 1) investigating the associations between pain and knee biomechanics in people with knee osteoarthritis via a systematic review and meta-analysis and, 2) determining the effect of a gait retraining intervention targeting knee biomechanics compared with active placebo gait retraining on pain and other patient reported outcome measures in people with medial knee osteoarthritis. | en |
