dc.description.abstractWarning alert is effectively used in a variety of dangerous situation at subway station today, reducing the probability of deaths and injuries. When we design these warning alerts with the aid of sound, predicting and considering the emotional reaction of human beings to specific sounds are very important; some sounds produce a ‘startle effect’ on people. Also, we need to consider that the auditory alert is appropriate for a particular situation.en
