    • Automatic Data Repair without Format Specifications

      Luo, Zijian
      Published 2026
In data processing, datasets are expected to adhere to specific formats so that they can be consumed reliably by downstream tools and analyses. In practice, however, human error, data corruption, inconsistent formatting, ...

    • Towards Controllable and Interpretable Latent Modeling for Vision and Beyond

      Zheng, Jiyang
      Published 2026
Deep learning models for vision and multimodal data rely on high-dimensional latent representations to achieve strong empirical performance. However, such representations are often difficult to interpret and control, ...

    • Compaction-induced Anisotropy in Granular Materials: Effects of Grain Shapes on Fabric and Permeability Evolutions

      Li, Jike
      Published 2026
Particle morphology plays a vital role in altering the mechanical and fabric evolution of granular materials due to compression. In general, increasing particle shape irregularity, quantified by higher values of fractal ...

    • Aerodynamic Simulations of a Helicopter Rotor Using an Iterative Greedy Multiscale Radial Basis Function Mesh Deformation Method

      Coyle, Alexander Luke
      Published 2026
This thesis presents a new radial basis function (RBF) mesh deformation algorithm which combines and expands upon existing successful techniques. The mechanics of the mesh deformation are based on the multiscale RBF method, ...
