Recent events and ongoing challenges, such as pandemics and climate change, demonstrate the need for more resilient health systems. Preparing, absorbing, recovering and adapting to challenges benefits everyone. We will hear perspectives on how to strengthen health systems resilience, for local, national and global communities. This event highlights the strengths, opportunities and obstacles, both historical and contemporary, that impact health system resilience. It will conclude with a panel discussion reflecting on the recent past and the research and policies that will be needed for the future.en
