In this interdisciplinary seminar Dori will talk about the ways interests, ideas, and institutions intersect and shape multisectoral tobacco governance in Pacific Island Countries. The study she introduces explains how ideas about individual responsibility undermine health sector actors’ authority, how the political context determines the success of multisectoral collaboration, and what can be done to strengthen governance for health and policy coherence in Pacific Island Countries.
