This data set describes the experimental data collected and reported in the article "Untangling the Confounded Relationship between Perceiver Sex and Walker Sex on the Bistable Perception of Emotion Displaying Point-light Walkers". This data set describes perceiver identification rates of point-light walkers displaying anger and fear. All point-light walker stimuli are provided here. Half of the perceivers were told that the point-light walkers were showed approaching them, whilst the other half were told that the walkers were walking away from them. We have separated the data by the sex of both perceiver and walker. We have also collapsed the data across both emotions and across both walker sexes. The data scores are presented as percentages/proportions of the number of times the perceiver correctly identified the emotion displayed by the point-light walker relative to the total number of point-light walkers viewed for that emotion.en
