This booklet summarizes the highlights in neuroscience research of Maxwell Bennett over a 60 year period (1960-2020), on the Synapse. Fifty one years of research were carried out at the University of Sydney and nine at the University of Melbourne. This research at Sydney opened up the new area of ‘Neuroplasticity of the Synapse’.
