dc.description.abstract | In this seminar, we will explore how the geographic variation in healthcare services utilization reflects the differences in evidence and guidelines in Switzerland. First, we will discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with measuring unwarranted variation via healthcare claims data. Second, we will explore how guidelines and variation can be quantified to compare the variation across services. Finally, we will reflect on the preliminary results and their implications for the healthcare policy. | en_AU |
