dc.description.abstract[Spain?,; 1781?]. Well preserved and carefully written late 18th century antiphonary with 7 staves per page. The staves, and initials and subtitles, are in red ink, the text in black ink. Bound in contemporary full brown leather, with a raised back. The antiphonary, a song book for use in a liturgical choir in the Roman Catholic liturgy, was mainly used for singing Mass or the canonical hours. This antiphonary was compiled and written for use in a nunnery of the Servants of Mary (Order of Servites)en_AU
