dc.description.abstract	Presented in this report is a digital multiband compressor product development. With a working prototype built in the matlab environment called mcompdav.m. It calls the sub-function holtcomp.m to perform RMS level detection and compression. Two different filtering options during the band splitting process are offered and further wave shaping through the implementation of output gain controls per-band is permitted. Plot figures and sound file examples are also presented.	en
