The objective of this paper is to present a new prospect in digital audio technology to audio experts of various calibres, with the knowledge that it can be employed by anyone and everyone through simplified explanations and facilitative user interface. Through the implementation of a digital audio system, qualities of real world spaces can now be emulated in a virtual environment for use in 3D audio-visual entertainment such as virtual motion simulators. Two spatial effects, 3D panning and reverberation, will be merged into one product to create an ultimate sense of space and sound localisation, without which, one cannot be truly immersed in a virtual world.en_AU
