Influenced by the Renaissance concept of a three-day autopsy performance and by Prague’s strong historical connection with the advancement of the sciences, this project retains the high cultural significance of St Anna’s in Prague while transforming it into into an experiential learning space. The design allows for immersion in the programme of an autopsy, lectures, discussion and reflection time as a catalyst for seeking a deeper understanding of what it is to be human. The autopsy will be carried out using a Virtual Autopsy Table, building a 3D recreation of the human form to enable participants to follow the process.en_AU
