When we first got this project knowing that we are designing a theatre in a church and moreover, it's an anatomy theatre, my reaction was awkwardness. In my knowledge, anatomy theatre and church just don't belong to one catalogue. They are more like contradicted. Church sometimes may represent death but most of time, it gives hope and life, on the other hand, anatomy theatre is all about dealing with death, and dissecting cadavers. So this contradiction is where I started to dig into design.en
