    • Effect of integrating digital breast tomosynthesis (3D-mammography) with acquired or synthetic 2D-mammography on radiologists’ true-positive and false-positive detection in a population screening trial: A descriptive study

Bernardi, Daniela; Li, Tong; Pellegrini, Macro; Macaskill, Petra; Valentini, Marvi; Fanto, Carmine; Ostillio, Livio; Houssami, Nehmat
      Published 2018
We previously reported the Screening with tomosynthesis or standard mammography-2 (STORM-2) trial, showing that tomosynthesis (3D-mammography) screening detected more cancers than 2D-mammography in double-reading practice. ...

      Houssami, Nehmat; Lee, Christoph I
      Published 2018
Breast density (BD) is an independent risk factor for breast cancer and reduces the sensitivity of mammography. The enactment of BD legislation in a majority of states in the USA mandating notification of risks associated ...
