See moreEsfahan is famous for its Islamic architecture and is a very historic and religious city in Iran. My work through out the semester shows the development of a modern community centre with religious and cultural values. The community centre that I have proposed will have three main purposes. First to join the community religiously together with the main focus point being the prayer room. Second I want the community centre to act as an educational centre, teaching the younger generation about Esfahans religion and history, keeping the culture within the city. Finally it will act as a place to council, have meetings and discuss any issues that arise in the community. It lies on the main street and is easy to access with the prayer room visible from all parts of the site. The building is modern with traditional traits creating a new yet respectful centre in the area.
