| dc.description.abstract | The project is an aged care centre proposed at Stockholm, Sweden. The whole project is about love. While trying to design a lovely place for the old man, it is a great challenge trying to design a place that can provide love for the people living inside. It would not be a nice plac3e to live if the feel in the building is deadly. But there is not much thing for old people to do. Unlike the young ages, they are not as energetic as the young one and they are not active. Therefore, it is a challenge in designing the building. An old folk’s home should not be just a place for old man. This will make the place unliveable. In order to, eliminate loneliness among the old man, the building serves a secondary function of being a child care centre. Children are new life sources. With them running around the building, the whole building will be filled with life source. And this will be a source for old people to live great. But as mentioned before, old man are not like young ages, especially children. This is a great challenge for the building to function well as the two active groups in the building have such a huge age gap. To have interaction between them, it is necessary to look for their common point so that they can communicate well. While having them interacting well, there must also be interaction between old man. On the whole, the whole project is a challenge. | en |
