dc.description.abstract | The site G7 has a big office block which is in shape of translating from square to cross. The major conception for this building is based on its location and the city – New York. This building is an observation tower with 90-meter height. With the small base area limit, the building was designed into self-expansion building. The total useable area, the range of vision and the capacity of people are all in expansion. This building is also designed into energy saved and healthy. The translating form is good for guiding nature lights into the working space; the double glazing dressing walls are good at ventilation which can bring more fresh air in; the different louver windows in different orientation can block extra heat from the nature lights which can save energy for temperature-controlling. The expansion shape also does self shading for the noon sun. This building is a quite energy-save office observation New York tower. | en |
