A brief summary of my design project is it is an amalgamation of architectural precedent influences that combines with my own idea and sense of direction that employs technical knowledge along with response to feedback that amounts to my building. It is a furniture store that has gone through 3 stages of re-development and design. It’s unconventional in that it has a heavy and solid interior that is enclose by a light weight and transparent façade, however this is explained within the portfolio. There is much I could have improved on, however I am happy with my efforts and the final result… ...this year has been a great experience in terms of doing something different. it made me think outside the box deal with feedback and how to take it as positive criticism gain so much different knowledge learn to express my ideas grow a tolerance to little sleep whilst expending more energy and so much more Many thanks must go to the excellent tutors I’ve had the luck of interacting with: Cladia Perren, Hamish Watt (design) Penny Fuller, Samantha “Sam” Donnelley (construction) I look forward to next year’s challenges armed with all I have learnt and experienced this year and building on my knowledge. fin.en
