See moreMany organisations have adopted employee well-being into their HR strategies and have implemented ongoing well-being management programs. With the ongoing pandemic and work-from-home arrangements, numerous well-being campaigns are delivered digitally. The thesis aims to investigate employees’ engagement in digital employee well-being programs (EWPs) and how they are affected by the design and delivery of the campaigns. Built upon the Task Technology Fit (TTF) theory, the thesis conducted an analysis of employee participation data at a company’s digital well-being platform. The results of this study indicate that employees' engagement levels are affected by notification intrusiveness and notifications schedules. In addition, time constraints can also play an important role in employee engagement as the findings show that employees typically delay taking action until the campaign deadline comes. The potential contribution and future study are finally discussed.
