The scope of this thesis is primarily the general geology, stratigraphy and structure of that portion of the Windsor l mile Military Street bounded on the south by the Grose Valley and on the East by the Hawkesbury River. Examination has also been made of the Bilpin-Mountain Lagoon Region and a brief excursion has been made into the Upper Colo Region. The second of the major maps is, except for the southern portions and up the Colo River to a point two miles above the road, the result of air photo interpretation, this being aided by a knowledge of the sequence gained in other parts of the area.en_AU
