dc.description.abstract	Nadezhda Konstantinovna KRUPSKAYA, born in 1869, began her revolutionary work whilst yet a school student, but be— came a dedicated Marxist while teaching in Sunday school. She was arrested for illegal activities, exiled, married Lenin and became a member of the Russian Communist Party. Before the Revolution she wrote some pamphlets on education based on Marxist philosophy.	en_AU
