The base balance wind tunnel testing technique was used to determine the wind loading on a range of telecommunication antennas and head frames. The crosswind and torsional components of the wind loading were typically small, and the along-wind drag force dominated the response. As more antennas were added to the head frame the peak along-wind drag typically increased.
