Carriages that link together – A train Ideas that link together – My Project From 2D to 3D, things evolve. A box divided into smaller pieces, add roof tops which then forms the site plan for my Underground Train Station. I chose the most interesting looking roof top as the location for my train station as I want my Underground Train Station to look unusual to all the other buildings surrounding it, I want my train station to stand out. A Train Station is an ALL IN ONE place, a central spot where people gather. There is a Café area and a small book shop in my train station, where people can enjoy their coffee and read books while waiting for the train to arrive. The Ticket selling spot is a viewable place where people can see immediately as they enter the train station. The counter stands at an angle, with the window of the counter facing towards the entrance. Stairs are right next to the counter which leads to the platforms underground. People can recognize my train station form a distance with the clock tower. The most amazing part of my project is this clock tower. The clock is not viewable, but the TIME is. The clock tower has a total of 12 poles. At each hour, a pole will light up in its own unique colour. At each minute, the colour of the pole will light up at intervals. When it’s 60minute, the whole pole will be lit up. Every time when a train arrives, all 12 poles will light up consecutively one after the other, just like poles blinking, so attractive that it will lead people into the train station. Let the colours of the world guide your way through life.en
