README FOR CT DATASET FOR IN-SITU TESTS OF CEMENTED GLASS BEADS The dataset is corrrsponding to the in-situ tests in the journal paper 'Characterisation of fracture evolution of a single cemented brittle grain using in-situ X-ray computed tomography'. The dataset of this study should also help significantly numerical modelers seeking to evaluate their models. The experimental observations of the fracture process of single cemented grains, particularly the temporal 3D data, can be considered and incorporated into the development of future constitutive models for more sophisticated modeling of material failure. Meanwhile, the whole experimental fracture evolution can be treated for valuable training and testing data for machine learning in order to better predict the fracture propagation. This dataset contains the CT images for the fragmentation process of a single brittle glass bead cemented by ductile epoxy resin, along with the correspionding force-displacement curves. E1 and E2 folders include raw radiographic images of two tests in the paper, along with the corssponding tomographic images and force-displacement data. Figure 5 folder contains the raw images for the Figure 5 displayed in the journal paper. Figure 6 folder contains the raw images for the Figure 6 displayed in the journal paper.
