| Abstract: | The paper examines the research publications from refereed journals during the period 1990-1994 for 301 lecturers, senior lecturers, associate professors and professors at 17 Australian universities in the academic disciplines of accounting and finance. Twenty-eight active publishers or less than one tenth of the total 301 academics who came from the top five universities wrote two or more articles during the five year survey and produced more than one-half of the total pages published during the survey period. |
